The sacred place which produces the swell of the festival at the ninth year The sacred place which produces the swell of the festival at the ninth year of Shinano Primitive Sense Art Festival, the art of the stage and the art of daily life which remains as a part of the landscape even after the end of the festival we will create works with both sides.
The artist as Marebito* who visits from abroad, the people who lives on the land, and the visitors together create "Sacred–Profane Dichotomy of Water“ which is a place of encounter of sacred festival and everyday beauty at the Kizaki lakeside which is water land.

The birthplace of water

This year's 10th anniversary of the Primitive Sense Art Festival will be held on the theme of " The birthplace of water". The birthplace soil is the land of the beginning of one's own birth. We look at the origin of water and land, and create a new beginning place in the birthplace of water. On the shore of Lake Kizaki, we will continue to burn for a week, dedicated fire to Lake Kizaki, the artist as a Malebite (Spirt from divine realm ) visiting from domestic and foreign, and we will create a festival with all visitors together.
