| The mission of Primitive sense
art festival is to call up the fandamental sense of |
| Art in this moment at SHINANO, where JYOMON (Ancient Japanese) people |
| had been lived. For expressing your original primitive sense, please visit |
| SHINANO, Kizaki lake, where the beautiful lands of water welcome you for the |
| bud of new creation. |

| About |
|
| Founded in 2010, Shinano Primitive Sense Art Festival is Omachi City’s
largest |
| annual celebration of art. Uniquely, the festival offers the chance to experience the |
| best contemporary artists. Enjoy strolling along the Kizaki Lake and watch
artists |
| complete pieces, and you can feel the dynamics of the nature and the earth.

| express your original primitive sense, please visit Shinano and Kizaki
Lake in |
| Omachi city where the beautiful lands of water welcome you for the bud
of new |
| creation. |

If your work call up the primitive
sense, any form of Art would be applicable.
|
|
(Sculpture, Lands art, Architecture, dressing design or cooking food, etc.)

Residence piriod
|
|
|
From June to August (depends on your project)
|
|
| Awards |
|
150000Yen for making Artwork including the cost of the materials, transportation
|
| expenses, and living expenses. The accommodation will be provided. |
|
|
*Artist in Residence is on the condition that to create a permanent artwork at the
|
|
Primitive Sense Art Festival or to donate more than an artwork.
|
|
*The artist is requested to stay from 15 days to a month as the residence Artist
|
| for creating own artwork. |
|

requirements |

If your work call up the primitive sense, any form of Art would be applicable.

| 1. The artist should be a workshop or lecture while staying |
| 2. The artist should be a talk event in the opening. |
| 3. The artist should be the local school social events. |
| 4. The artist bshould e the results announcement of stay in a country other than Japan to |
| within stay after the end of one year. (Exhibition, performance, lecture or workshop) |
| 5. The artist should be able to publish the results of the stay in Japan as articles and papers in |
| English or the native language of the language in the media, such as a newspaper or magazine |
| or web site within the stay after the end of 1 year. |

1. The international airfare economy class and the airport to Shinano transportation
|

2. 100,000Yen for making Artwork cost of the materials

| 3. 120,000Yen as living expenses and food expenses of one month |
